Mittagong

The gateway to the Southern Highlands, Mittagong lies between the volcanic peaks of Mount Gibraltar and Mount Alexandra, just 110 km south-west of Sydney. The town’s pretty gardens are open to the public throughout the year but it’s in spring and autumn that they are in full bloom. This is a great place to potter, for antiques and books, good food and wine.
