Robertson

robertson-main-street.jpgThis pretty historic agricultural town was the setting for the film, “Babe”. Situated at the top of Macquarie Pass amid rolling green hills, Robertson is 128 km south of Sydney and a favourite stop for travellers making a loop drive through the Southern Highlands and Illawarra.

Robertson and its environs have several retreats and B&Bs, many with an outstanding historic flavour. Visit the Old Cheese Factory, stop for a photo at the Big Potato, a tribute to the town’s agricultural heritage, and the Robertson Pie Shop, famous for its savoury and sweet pies.
